School Context

Albury Public School is committed to achieving high quality learning outcomes for its 610 students.
Established on its present site in the heart of the city of Albury in 1861, all school stakeholders are proud
of the school’s heritage but recognise that the school must cater for the learning needs of students in the
21st century by providing the best modern teaching and learning strategies available.

Statement of Purpose

Through a caring environment, provide for the academic, cultural, physical, social and moral development of each child and in so doing encourage children to become self-motivated learners who can work independently and cooperatively while striving to reach their full potential.
